We will be working to a set design on a small block (you can choose one design from the four pictured) so no drawing or art skills are required. You will leave with some basic knowledge of carving and printing, and up to 5 black and white prints of your chosen design to frame and gift to friends and family. You can choose a template to work from from the four dried foliage designs I have created: Stitchwort (easiest), Bunny Tails (medium), Honesty (medium), Poppy heads (trickiest!).
We will start the morning learning about Lino Printing tools, and I will give you the confidence to carve into your lino by demonstrating carving techniques and practicing on small test blocks together. We will then move on to choosing a design you’re comfortable carving, transferring it to your block, then spend a relaxing hour carving using professional tools and traditional techniques, all guided by me. For the final hour, we will get the inks, rollers and my trusty Woodzilla Press out to bring your wonderful carves to life! Ink, Print, Repeat!
Tea, Coffee and biscuits are provided, as are all materials and tools.

My workshops are non refundable, however if I am able to fill your space then I will do my best to refund where possible.
